Marilyn Cohen has a BS degree from Simmons College, Boston; an MSW from the University of Washington, Seattle; and a PhD from California School of Professional Psychology, Berkeley. She has provided psychotherapy and training for individuals and couples, as well as staff development training and organizational consultation for legal, medical, and academic professionals; public safety personnel (police, corrections, 911 dispatchers, firefighters, paramedics); and other public agencies and private industry.
She also worked for the American Psychological Association, the Stanford University Psychiatry Department, the University of Washington Psychiatry Department, and the University of California San Francisco Medical Center.
Dr. Cohen has retired from her private practice in San Francisco, Sausalito, and Palo Alto, California, and is now living in Boca Raton, Florida.
