Edward N. Port
Edward grew up in Rhode Island and graduated from the Business School of the University of Miami in 1990 with a BBA in Real Estate/Finance, then went on to the University of Michigan and graduated Cum Laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1993. His first job was with the Broward County State Attorney’s Office where he was a prosecutor. He then went into the private sector wherein he represented major creditors such as Ford Motor Credit, GMAC and AutoNation.
Today, as head of The Port Law Firm, he represents both individuals and businesses in asset protection and wealth preservation planning. Additionally, Mr. Port represents clients seeking to file bankruptcy as well as implementing out-of-court debt workouts and restructuring through debt adjustment.
